Happy New School Year!

Dear pen-friends from Argentina,
We are very pleased to partner with you in the blog, this is a very interesting and enjoyable work.
We’ve heard that your school year begins in March. It is very surprising for us, as we have been learning for 5 months and looking forward to summer vacation very much which will be only in June, July and August.
What is the name of your school and what grade are you in? We would like to know how your vacation was. Maybe you spent your vacation in some interesting places or you spent the summer in Argentina, didn’t you? We know that Argentina is extremely beautiful and very warm!

In our town which is called Nefteugansk, summer is usually not too warm and long.
As we haven’t the sea or any famous sights nearby, we usually go away to some southern parts of Russia oe even to other countries during the summer. Some children go to summer camps in the resort towns where they have fun, other children have part-time job.
As for me, my name is Merim Dzhalmambetova. I’m 16 years old, I study in secondary school № 5. My hobby is dancing and I have been doing dancing in the club called «Style» for 11 years. During the summer holidays I usually go to warm countries with my parents or to the camp.

Sorry we haven't written for some time! How are you? We are fine! We know that you finish school very soon. It's so strange for us because we're having just the middle of the school year here in Russia.

Hi our dear friends! Welcome back to our blog. We were really worried because you have not written for such a long time but we did not remember that you were on holidays. Did you enjoy it? Did you travel anywhere?

Did you have that big event on October 8? Did you have a great time? We would like to see some pics of it.

Here in Argentina we are almost finishing our school year. For us, this is last year at secondary school. So, next year we will start university i a city near La Chispa. Both of us will study to be P.E. teachers. We are really anxious about it. We must study hard.

We also are preparing our Graduation Party for next month. In order to get money for the party we sold some food (cakes, chicken, pasta). It was a great effort for all of us.

My name is Zhanna.
I`ve been living in Nefteyugansk since my birth, for about 16 years. Recently I`ve entered a new school. Its full name is secondary school №5. And I have some favourite subjects, for example, Mathematics, History and Literature. But most of all I like English. I`m interested in the language, in culture of such countries as England and America.
But besides secondary school I also go to the Art school and English school. At my Art school I paint and draw. This year is my last year of studying there. And I`ll have 5 difficult exams. Although I like it and I get only excellent marks I`m worrying so much because of that.
Also I like to write poems, to listen to music, to go for a walk with my friends. I have 2 best friends and they morally support me and make me really happy. Although I care for them very much there is no person in all the world more dear for me than my Mum. I love her and she loves me. And we always help and protect each other.

We are here again!!!

Hello our friends in Argentina!
We knoe that your school year is going to its end but here in Russia our new school year started only a couple of weeks ago. So we'd be glad to continue our project with you!
Thank you for your message and picture of August, 31! They both are so nice! We also have some traditions in our school. Foe example, on October,8 we are having a big event of entering the high school. We'll send you some pictures of the event later.

Ours Jackets

In our country, it is a common tradition to design jackets when we finish secondary. school.
In this photo you can see the girls of fifth year wearing those colourful jackets.
We are going to show them in a party this Friday. In that party, all the students will dance, listen to music and have a great time!
