Hello!
My name is Reseda. I live in a small town of Nefteyugansk with my parents.
I study at school № 5 it's a special school - multy profiled.
It is special because we can choose subjects necessary for our
future profession and learn them intensevely. Not so long ago I decided to change my profile subjects
in English and Social Studies. In this connection I was transfered to another class (form)
and now I also have the opportunity to write in the blog like my new classmates!
As for my hobbies - I have been playing the piano for 7 years. Also I play the guitar and collect
some things from the last time for example: souvenirs, tickets, postcards and so on.
Now I'd like to tell you about my summer. Unfortunatly, on the first day of my summer holidays I got to hospital. But it's better than if I had been there during the school year.
After this my mother and I went to Ufa to my older brother. He is a student of Petrolium University there. Ufa is the amazing capital of Bashkortostan. There you can to see a variety of buildings and monuments of the XIX century and modern high buildings.
The rest of the summer I mostly spent at home or went shopping.
But one day I went to the movie in the open air cinema with my elder cousin.
The movie name is "Moonrise Kingdom". It's about a pair of young lovers flee their New England town, which causes a local party to fan out and find them. This movie is very powerful and unusal.
If I have a chance to see some movie in the open air cinema again I'll do that! So it's very amusing!

During my
summer I was in Kyrgyzstan with my parents. The point is that my sister is
studying and living in the capital of Kyrgyzstan, Bishkek, for 4 years and we
visited her. I visited many places there, but most of all I liked the view of the
night city from a great height. Also I was impressed with the Museum of Blood. There you
can see pictures of bloody battles for the freedom of people, secret finds from
revolutions and revolts and many interesting things. In this museum everyone will
receive unusual emotions and shivers will run on his body .
You can't
imagine how incredibly beautiful it is in our mountains! Local air is so clean that
your head will turn and ears will lay. There a lot of herbs and flowers
which used in medicine grow.
Kyrgyzstan
is famous for its hot springs and above all Lake Issyk-Kul.I was here twice and
did not come out of the water. The weather was very hot and I actually had a good
time. I’d like to show you my photos which I took in Kyrgyzstan.
What did
you do this summer?Did you make any friends this summer? What do you want to do
after school?
I’m looking forward to hearing from you soon!
Best wishes,

Hello, dear
friends!
My name is Alexander. I'm writing to you for the first time.
This year I have had really a good rest. In June I and my friend were in Moscow. You know, it is the capital of Russia, and in fact, this is a very beautiful place with a lot of historical sites and buildings.
Moscow City is as big as a small country, it includes its laws and rules. People always are hurrying there; it seems as if they are missing the only train and trying to catch it up. The only place, where people have some silence is the underground, when they come in a train car. It is like an endless stream, especially in rush hours. Every station in the Metropolitan has its own design, which represents some big event in Russian history.
Of course, I must tell you about Red Square! When I was there, I was really feeling a spirit of Russia. I saw the Kremlin with some towers and red brick walls. On the top of one of them you can see a big clock called Kuranty. By the way, in this picture you can see Red Square, St. Basil's Cathedral and the Kremlin in the evening. I think the view is wonderful!
Despite of the city size, there are no odd sectors - every of them has its own meaning in the city life. Moscow is a business center too. Economic questions about all the country have their answers in Moscow. If you want to buy something special, you must go there. If you want new feelings, you must go there too!
Best wishes,
Alexander

Ann about her summer holidays
I was glad to read your letters after my summer holidays. This August I was in Greece with my mom, on the island of Crete. We stayed at the hotel near the beach, so out of the window we could even see the sea. I got great pleasure swimming in the sea, which seemed bottomless and endless (in the future, I plan to get a tattoo with the word “sea” on the Norwegian or the Swedish languages). The sea and the beach were clean, but I was afraid to step on a sand-dollar!
Greeks and
Europeans on the whole are very nice and friendly people, I was pleased to talk
to them, but I haven’t made any real friends. At our hotel a lovely gay couple stayed too, who were rather strange.
But I didn’t get acquainted with them and I’m sorry about it.
Has anyone
of you been to Greece? Which foreign countries have you visited? How do you
usually spend your summer holidays?
Write me
soon, please!
Best
wishes,
Ann

Hello my
dear friends from Argentina!
I’m Masha, I have written to you earlier. Now, I
want to tell you about my summer holidays. They weren’t so cool, but sometimes I
really was happy.
You know,
we live in a small town in the north of Russia, so every of us tries to spend our holidays in
different cities or countries. My parents and I went to the nearby city of Tyumen
for some days. There I visited the Art Museum and the exhibition of the painter Salvador Dali. There were a lot of his illustrations to the book "Devine Comedy" by Dante. Have you ever seen any of his works?
Also I've read
some books, such as ”In his own write” by John Lennon, “Meat.Eating animals” by
Johnatan Foer and “Flowers for Algernon” by Daniel Keyes. The last one is a real
page-turner and it’s very hard to put down. Do you know that this book is included to school program in the USA? Do you like reading?
Yesterday I
saw the movie "The Secret in their Eyes" by your recommendation. It’s really a very good film. Thank you for advising to watch it!
In these pictures you can see my pets: my birds and my lovely cat. by the way, do you like animals?
Hope to hear from you as soon as possible!
Your friend,
Masha

Zhanna's impressions about her summer holidays

I was really surprised having got so many letters from you . During 3 months we didn`t write cos we had our summer holidays. I`ve had a great time and now I`ll tell u abot it.
I`ve been
to Spain for 2 weeks and I can say just one – it`s something unforgetable.
Although the flight was quit long – 7 hours, I felt happy. I visited such cities
as Barcelona, Reus, Tarragona, Valensia and I lived in a touristic town called
Salou. The most exciting and fantastic thing for me was the Barcelona
architecture heritage. The city is rich of different unusual modern and ancient
great buildings: from dwelling-houses to palaces. Spainish people were very
kind, sociable, friendly and nice. The weather also pleased me: each day was so
sunny and warm, just the sea was a little bit cold, nevertheless, it didn`t
matter. By the way, I`ve been to the biggest entertainment park around Spain, like Disneyland, - Port
Aventure– it impressed me very much - and if you wish I can tell u more about
it in the next letter.Being in Spain, I even learned a few easy words, I really liked the language and I`d be glad
to learn it professionally in my nearest future.
Well, my summer holidays were
so cool that I envy myself. And I have
some questions to you, for example, have you ever been abroad? If you have,
what countries did you visit? Would you like to go to Port Aventure?
I look
forward to your reply.
